Finally, we can bring you the world's first 'DIMMABLE' energy saving light bulb. Not only will it save you money on your electricity bills but it's also fantastic quality, and super bright too.

The new DigiFlux® CFLs bulbs are being welcomed by householders wanting to save money and energy without compromising on the control of their lighting that dimming provides. They can be used as a direct replacement for traditional incandescent lamps and provide big energy savings.

The new spiral Dimmable EnergySaver can be dimmed using a standard dimmer switch from 3% to 100% brightness and is predicted to save the purchaser more than £100 on energy bills, during its 16000 hour lifetime, compared with an equivalent 100W GLS lamp. Combining the energy-saving properties of a CFL with the capacity to dim results in superb energy efficiency calculated to reduce carbon emissions by more than half a tonne with every GLS lamp replaced.

These light bulbs are designed to work with a standard dimmer switch. For optimum compatibility, choose a VARILIGHT dimmer switch (all of our light switches before we lovingly customise them are made for us by VARILIGHT).

Check The Loading Limits Of Your Dimmer Switch
 

These energy saving bulbs are rated at 20W.

Please note that dimmer switches have minimum load limits as well as maximum load limits. Therefore you must check the minimum load limit of your dimmer (usually on the rear of the product or on the packaging) and make sure the minimum load is met. For example, if the dimmer has a minimum load limit of 40W you need to use at least two Dimmable EnergySaver+ lights bulbs (2x20W = 40W).

Special VARILIGHT low load dimmers are available with a minimum load limit of 20W if you want to use just one Dimmable EnergySaver plus with a dimmer switch.

Also check the maximum load limit so that if your dimmer has a minimum load limit of 250W then you can use a maximum of twelve Dimmable EnergySaver+ light bulbs (12 x 20W = 240W).

Incase of electronic failure please return your light bulb to our customer service department. It is in addition to and not in derogation of the statutory rights of the purchaser and is offered so that you may have the benefit of our technical facilities. Should any defect occur in this unit within 12 months of it's purchase we will replace the defective unit free of charge provided that :-

a) The unit has been correctly fitted according to the instructions and has only been used on 200-250V AC.

b) The product has not been tampered with or taken apart.

c) No physical damage has been caused to the product.
